Sanna-Mari Salomäki


Sanna-Mari Salomäki is a qualitative researcher and communication consultant from Helsinki, Finland. Basically, her job is to turn the unique understanding of the youth target group into marketing and communication strategies, plans, and execution. She combines the interests of youth, advertising agencies, and her clients. Recently, she has been working mainly for the health and wellbeing sector. She has become one of the leading experts of health promotion targeting youth, e.g. anti-smoking campaigning. In youth research, Sanna-Mari believes in an ethnographic approach, creativity of research methods, and having fun. And related to marketing communications, she is convinced of the power of emotions and experiences. She loves snowboarding, ballet and oriental dance, as well as her boxer (dog :-)
