Helen Rose is Insight Director for Viacom Brand Solutions International, a division of MTV Networks International. Helen’s anthropological background and passion for analysis originate from her university studies and BA degree in Human Geography. Since then she’s clocked up 8 years of media industry experience, including media auditing for a diverse range of blue chip advertisers in the UK; managing the media planning and strategy for the BBC’s youth TV channel BBC Three; and most recently heading up the International Insight team at VBS International, a division of MTV Networks International. In her current role Helen has researched teens and young adults around the globe to provide insights for clients that span a variety of youth product categories from fashion and technology to automotive and travel. As a result she has been involved in the output of innovative pieces of international youth research which have been shared across the MTV International business and externally to clients and the press. Helen’s other passion in life is her 10 month old son Milo. When she’s not researching youth she’s spending her time ensuring Milo doesn’t eat the cat food or come to any harm due to his reckless crawling technique.
