Happy Thanksgiving! Yes, it’s that time of the year again: time to give thanks for the blessing of the harvest and for the preceding year in the company of your friends and family, whilst enjoying a lot of turkey (or other healthy alternatives). But, while you’re sipping that Thanksgiving cocktail or preparing your cranberry sauce and sweet potatoes, you had better start preparing your holiday gift list as well, because Black Friday & Cyber Monday are coming up!
Yes, the beginning of the holiday shopping season in the US is a day a lot of people are looking forward to, especially Millennials. On one hand, they want to find the perfect gifts (& preferably catch some promotions). On the other hand, retailers & marketers want to bring them into their shops. But what is Millennials’ game plan for the Black Friday shopping? According to a recent millennial survey, 95% of Millennials will do their holiday shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Interestingly, while most digital-savvy millennials (52%) don’t like to go to stores on Black Friday, 61% will do so anyway.
