A recent study by Scarborough shows that 71% of adults aged 21 and older drink any type of alcohol (whether that be beer, hard cider, liquor or wine); of this group, more than 1 out 3 is a Millennial. Next to that in a recent article by ad-ology we learned that, while women purchase adult beverages, they are not responsive to advertising in this category and make their selection based on someone else’s recommendation or request. Men on the other hand tend to plan their domestic-beer purchases and 79% drink the beverage that same day.
